- [Question] Why is oil cleaner necessary?

[Answer]
All machines and facilities are operated by lubricating oils.
Lubricating oil is selected by working type of the machine, uniformly used for the industry, and as same as the life of the machine. Thus, if lubricating oil is contaminated or deteriorated, it may cause various troubles or serious damages to the machine. Of course, line filter in the machine filters large size impurities, prevents serious damage, but very fine contaminants may cause wear, damage, malfunctioning, and oil life shortening.
One of the reasons which bring oil degradation is water Water generates in the oil from the contact of water with oil under temperature change, cooler failures, or worker negligence. Water generation accelerates oxidation, possibly causing significant oil life shortening
Hydraulic oil acts like blood in human body, thus requiring removal of water and impurities to maintain high purity clean and transparent oil continuously and to expect smooth. normal operating state.
- [Question] What are differences, advantages and disadvantages of the Movable type (OCS-TYPE) and Attachment type (KSS-TYPE)?

OCS-TYPE
1. There are various types of oils in diverse state. If you replace the element for each oil, all various type of oils can be purified.
2. Oil under no pressure can be moved and purified. It can be used by attaching to the large capacity equipment.
3. Unmanned purification is possible during machine operation. Oil can be purified without separate personnel.
4. As it is used by purifying time reservation, oil purification can be managed reasonably.
5. If you want to transport oil without purification, you can transport it only with the simple control.
6. If water flows into oil, water removal is easy in a short time.
7. In case of machine failure and repair, parts will be disintegrated and assembled, Then, many foreign substances can be included.
8. You can use again the contaminated and gathered oil (waste oil) after purification.
KSS-TYE
1. As installed along the line in a machine hydraulic circuit, if machine is operated longer, oil is gradually cleaner (not contaminated) to maintain high purity oil state (NASS 5-8 class).
2. Drastic extension of the replacement period of in-service oil (about 7 times)
3. As operated by the valve, no failure rate occurs and semi-permanent use is possible.
4. Element surface observation tells oil state and machine state in advance.
5. The product is so compact that installable at any space.
6. Element can be replaced even during machine operation.
7. When replacing the machine, it can be detached and installed to the new machine, which protects its proprietory value.
- [Question] I am a stranger to this machine, Is there any difficulties using this? How long would I need to take education to use this?

As you face this machine for the first time, you may feel scary.
However, if you are handling machines at present, this machine is made so that one hour education would suffice its use. This is a technology integrated product, a good product made through ceaseless product development for the easy use by anybody.
- [Question] What are applications of KASS O/C?

KASS O/C can be applied to all factories using lubricating oils.

- [Question] There are various kinds of oils, Is it possible to purify such oils only with one machine (OCS-TYPE)?

[Answer]
Yes. it is. For example, After purifying hydraulic oil, and if you want to purify spindle oil, take out the oil from the oil cleaner, replace the filter element, and purification is possible.
- [Question] 3OL was absorbed with OCS-2R. Is there any difference in discharge amount after filtration?

For example if you filter 30OL with OCS-2R and 3OL, discharge amount would be about 26L.
- [Question] If power is on, pump is running but absorption does not work. What shall I do?

[Answer]
Motor is turning reversely.
If changing two lines out of 3 lines in wiring, you can correct the direction of motor rotation.
- [Question] While filtering is going well, but if pressure drops, discharge amount also decreases. What is the reason?

If suction strainer is chocked, pressure drops and discharge decreases. You need to take out and clean the strainer.
- [Question] How can we check if oil is mixed with water?

[Answer]
If a lot of water is mixed in oil, its color is twinged with milky color.
However, a small amount of water is mixed, visual observation is difficult but if you check the element, you can see if water is mixed (Refer to the filter surface observation at our home page)
- [Question] Foam generates from the purified oil. What is the reason?

[Answer]
Air is coming into the intake area.
Lock again caps of a suction trainer and oil cleaner.
- [Question] How much oil can be purified for one E/M? How can we check the replacement time?

[Answer]
It is not easy to say it clearly. Roughly speaking, it takes 1 ea of element (F-180) to purify 500 L oil of NAS 11 class into NAS class 9.
- [Question] Is filteration related to oil temperature?

[Answer]
Filtering efficiency is proportional to temperature. If temperature is higher, viscosity is lower. If temperature is lower, viscosity is higher. If oil viscosity is lower, filtering efficiency rises (optimum temperature: 40 degree).
- [Question] Without filtering, can we move oil to the other place?

[Answer]
Yes. First, lock the OUT valve, open the drain valve at the back of the product, connect the hose, and connect the power. Open the valve connecting from IN manifold to OUT manifold, then filtering does not work, and only the transport is possible.

- [Question] What is service pressure for filtration? What is the maximum pressure?

[Answer]
The range of service pressure is 1~5kg/cm, but it may differ with oil viscosity, contamination, and others.
When water is mixed or seriously contaminated oil is filtered, it is advisable to use it under low pressure.
For other cases, use it at 2~5kg/cm2.
For protecting KSS oil cleaner, if more than 5.5 kg/cm2, it is made to be off automatically.
- [Question] Can it be used for vessel oil? If possible, what is your product fit for vessel oil?

[Answer]
Any oil (its viscosity of 10~320CST), if purified by KASS O/C, can be used again. If a vessel departs from the port, it takes a long time to arrive at the port. Thus, oil management is very important. Therefore, recycling of the waste oil, instead of disposal, is very important above all. It is desirable to select the suitable type according to the applicable oil amount. However, in consideration of special conditions for a long operation, it is more advisable to use the type of a large capacity and attach it to the machine.
- [Question] Can the internal combustion engine oil be used again (without disposal as a waste oil), if purified?

Engine oil can be used again without disposal, if purified.
